The combination of Chris’s ability to consistently produce quality sound at the top level combined with Mark’s vast experience in producing top quality pipe bags, which deliver at the top level, has resulted in an extremely comfortable sheepskin pipe bag. A great deal of time and knowledge has been invested in producing a bag which provides excellent comfort, moisture control, stability of sound and the richness of tone that Chris demands from his instrument. Check out the sound samples of the rich tone and stability produced here. The skins used in the production of the bags are all hand picked and the manufacturing process is meticulous at every stage. Comfort and correct posture while playing is vital and was a major factor in the design of the bag’s shape. The profile of the neck and front section of the bag has been designed so that there is minimal contact with the forearm of your top hand on the chanter. Less contact here means freer fingers and easier, more enjoyable playing. It is strongly recommended that you use Bennett Traditional Seasoning, which is also available to purchase through the shop.
