Description For your consideration we have a 2009 Gibson Custom Shop ’68 Les Paul Custom Reissue in a Guitar Center exclusive triburst finish w/original hard shell case in good condition. The maple top on this guitar is truly spectacular. This guitar has had professional use and shows some honest finish wear and signs of use, swirls, scratches, wear to the hardware, but no abuse. This guitar has had some modifications, including black hipshot locking tuners (we do not have the originals), a clear aftermarket pickguard (we do not have the original, a Gunstreet Burnside Single coil (no routing) in the neck position (we do have and are including the original Classic 57), plus black strap buttons, one relocated (see photos) No case queen here, this one is wanting to gig. Light fret wear, but plays really well, set with 10’s and a 12th fret action (from crown of fret to bottom of low E string) of about 1.2 mm. Weighs in at 9#13 oz, and has a slimmer 60’s slightly flat neck profile . . . very easy to play. We do not have the COA nor the case candy, but this guitar is verified authentic, and is really quite awesome.. The volume knob for the bridge pickup has a chip in it, but overall a very pleasing aesthetic on this guitar, it sounds as good as it looks. This is a nice one! Please, local sales only.
