Description The split stock water trap comprises a plastic stock, which is in two parts, together with a flexible tube. The tube collects excess moisture which can be poured out by removing the blowpipe from the bagpipes. As the stock splits in two the tube can be removed when seasoning a skin pipe bag. It is available with either an imitation ivory ferrule or nickel ferrule. Split Stocks Split-stocks are available with either a nickel or imitation ivory ferrule. A split-stock has either a tube, a tube with moisture control or a tube with a Trap Dri attached. Either of these combinations are used to control moisture issues when playing a skin bag. Once fitted you simply split the stock in two and remove, this allows you to empty any moisture that is in the tube or if using a tube with moisture control, it allows you to remove and dry out the sponge that is attached or remove and put a new piece of sponge in.
