This is nice because there are not a bunch of fiddley parts to it. I usually cut the garlic in half, set it on the cutting board and crush it with a rocking motion. Use the cover to pop the garlic out of the holes and then spoon it out of the bowl. Cleans easy and fast. The only downfall is that someone with strength issues may not have the umph to crush the garlic. It is probably not good for bulk use, but for a smal fast amount it works perfectly
