3 LED Bike Lights – Ultra Bright Bicycle Headlight, 3 Lighting Modes, USB Rechargeable 5400mAh for Night Cycling on Roads and Mountains

I wanted to wire in a different headlight on my bike, but when I started investigating the job I found that it ran on 48Volts directly from the bike battery, which is extremely high voltage for an LED and so the idea changed to supplement the existing light. I had no complaints about the rear light on the bike, it’s pretty bright and serves as a taillight and brake light and is in a good location for visibility. The headlight offered visibility as in being seen, but not so great for seeing. This light offers so much better visibility as a rider. I mounted it on the long stem riser, which makes positioning it closer or further from the front wheel simple while allowing the mounting clamp to be fully tightened. I haven’t used the taillight, just because it seemed like too many batteries to keep charged and track of. Yje only thing that I don’t like and it’s a trend in LED lights lately is having to cycle through all the modes to turn it off, it wouldn’t be as bad if the last mode wasn’t always strobe or SOS. I have one light that goes through all the modes if you quickly click through them, but if I stay on one mode for a certain amount of time the next click shuts it off. I’ve never had a health concern over flashing lights but some do and I could see this triggering a seizure, I close my eyes if I’m using it in the dark and would never use that mode, If I needed rescue I could flick the switch myself, but it doesn’t happen all that often.
