Got this shock needle gauge kit along with a rebuild kit from mtb hydraulics to rebuild an old Fox Float RP rear shock and it worked great @ 400psi. Clamped the tool to the workbench and used a piece of tape to mark the depth the needle needed to puncture before inflating. The needles are very bendy and flimsy, you’ll need to brace it while inserting it into the ifp port on the shock to prevent destroying it (found that out the hard way). You’ll be rewarded with a like new shocks and comfortable ride when done correctly.
