This is an excellent product.Before this I was using an Airport Express and it was hit or miss.My setup:The AP600EX is indoor, shooting through a wall with a stone veneer exterior, going 300′ to a garage.On the far wall of the garage [due to power outlet] is a Hawking HAW2R1 with network and wifi.Three important setup items:1. Aim is important – get it in the correct direction, then fine tune the signal with small rotations2. Switch to N only and 20MHz channel width for better distance3. Turn off the DHCP server – you’re bridging a network so there’s no need for it in most casesI regularly get 78% signal strength with the lowest at 63% due to weather.Was lucky to get 50 before installing the Amped, and usually was in the 20’s with spotty connectivity.Of note other reviewers said a firmware update reset everything – it does not.You just click More Settings and everything will still be there.Overall 5 stars.If I had put it outside I’m sure it would perform even better !
