I Don’t Like to Iron! But,this Honey Can Do Ironing Board with Rest and Shelf has made it a pleasant experience! The Board is Large-5 inches wide at top,with an 18 inch wide body,and is 49 inches long,excluding the iron rest, (my standard board is 4 inches at top,with a 13 inch wide body, is 50 inches long,and has no iron rest). This Board is Sturdy,opens easily,and adjusts to several different heights to accommodate body height,or sitting to iron. No assembly is required,as the shelf is attached,and folds down when the board is opened. The shelf measures 14 inches wide by 20 inches long,and is convenient for stacking smaller pressed or folded items. The iron rest on the end has wide openings through which I slipped the iron cord;that prevented it from dragging across the hanging portion of my garment. On either side of the rest are metal bars,suitable for hanging pressed garments ( must be short,or will touch the floor). The padding is just right-not too thick or too thin;I’ve had to add padding to my other boards,even as new units. The pattern on the board cover is neutral and will probably match any decor. My only difficulty was in stabilizing my iron on the rest-it doesn’t stand up,but tips forward. I wasn’t comfortable with that angle,so I didn’t use the iron rest. I received this Honey can Do Ironing Board with Rest and Shelf through the Spark Reviewer program,and now that I’ve used it,I find I Don’t Dislike Ironing as much!!! I’ve also shared my experience with family and friends,and a few have expressed an interest in making a purchase.
