Junior practice chanters are designed specifically for younger children with smaller hands who have not yet developed for the standard or long size practice chanters. This fits in with P4, P5 school age ranges. The tone holes on the junior chanter are set closer together than the standard sized practice chanters to accommodate for the smaller span of the finger.
