Origins Paua Pebble Pendant A sterling silver double hanging pebble shaped pendant. The double hanging drop consists of two organic pebble shape pieces one lager than the other with the larger one having a textured finish and the smaller one has a polished finished with a Paua shell inlay. Hanging on a circular jump-ring style bale. Paua, pronounced power, is the Mauri name used for what the Americans and Australians call abalone and the British call ormer. It a sea mollusc which is a common seafood, with the shell being used for decorative homewares and jewellery. The shells have lovely colour iridescence of greens, blues and purples which make it very desirable. This pendant would look great if teamed with some of the other pieces within the Pebble range, choose from drop earrings, studs and even bracelets. The pendant length is 25mm and the width is 19mm (width of the largest pebble). Please note that this is the pendant only, this gives you the option of using an existing chain or adding a chain of your choice from our chains range.
